Vein

A wearable choker in rusted, recycled steel and velvet, inspired by the veins of the neck.

4.031 emphasizes design development, constraints, and a hands-on experience of the design process. This challenge was to create a wearable object that interacted with or commented on the human body using minimal materials. I created a choker from rusted, recycled steel and velvet — its form inspired by the major veins of the neck.
